Journalism!! :((

September 8, 2010. Second period in the morning it was our Journalism Class with Mr. Gerano but when our class began we had our check-up quiz about the latest news in and outside our country so September 7, 2010 evening I studied and listened to the news but unfortunately when we had our quiz I only got 4 out of 10 so again I am about to cry but worst of all my score in our quiz in the book about the theories in news writing I only goyt 3 out of 15 imagine that score so again and again I am about to cry but I said to myself I will really strive next time to pull those scores up and I hope Mr. Gerano will help me in pulling those scores up becasue I have difficulty in studying Journalism now so this is the result. :((

My worst scores in my life!! :(

Finally, when I got my mastery tests in Science and Math I was really shocked bacause my scores are low but still I passed but for me it was really terrible. So I said to myself what did I do to make those scores low actually I studied very well ever night and stay longer hours just for me to study but unfortunately I got those scores so I said to myself this is not the end of the world, Rhosebhet!! There is another chance during the Mastery Test 2 so when I receive the papers on those subjects I have said I was about to cry but I realize that those scores are just testing my faith in God and they are just trials that I have to overcome in my life and to correct my mistakes. GO RHOSEBHET, YOU CAN DO IT!! :))))

September!!

September 9 is the 252nd day of the year (253rd in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 113 days remaining until the end of the year. This my Birthday!! And for this I am very thankful!! My mother told me that if I went out in the evening of September 8 my name coul have the name also of Maria but unfortunately I went out 1:01 in the morning of September 9, 1996 so it's like that. I love this day because I like my birthstone, Sapphire, and also it is one of my favorite number. And this day is my lucky day always. :)))) HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

Maria Venus Raj!!!

Maria Venus Bayonito Raj (born July 7, 1988) is a Filipina beauty queen. She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Universe on March 06, 2010 during the pageant's Grand Coronation Night at the Araneta Coliseum. She represented the Republic of the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2010 beauty pageant and placed fourth runner-up to Jimena Navarrete of Mexico."You know what, sir, in my 22 years of existence, I can say that there's nothing major major, I mean problem that I've done in my life because I'm very confident with my family, with the love that they are giving to me. So thank you so much that I'm here. Thank you, thank you so much!"Raj received the highest rating in the Miss Universe website, with 3.54 points, the highest-ever for a Filipina delegate. So for this her controversial and famous answer during the Question and Answer portion made me more proud to be a FIlipina!! MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS!!!! :))))

The Hostage Drama!!!

Last August 23,2010. Dismissed Manila Police District senior police inspector Rolando del Rosario Mendoza has taken hostage 25 people on board a Hong Thai tourist bus in front of the Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park, Manila. This is a terrifying and at the same time sad event that happened in the history of the Philippines that marked also to the citizens of Hong Kong that they think all Filipinos are like Mendoza!! So for now many Filipino OFW's lost their work in Hong Kong some are being discriminated by the Hong Kong citizens. So now our image in the Philippines was stained. In an attempt to inform the world of the good things about Philippines following Monday’s hostage crisis, 15-year-old Reigno Jose Dilao writes a letter to the world. Dilao, a 4th year student of Samar National High School, posted the letter at CNN’s iReport site Monday at around 10:00 P.M. after the hostage crisis ended leaving at least 10 people dead, including the gunman.

Happy Fiesta!!

August 15,2010, It's the barrio fiesta of Bo.Obrero and it is also the time we , the Assumption Community, have our procession as celebration of the 100th Centennial Years of Assumption-Iloilo. So even though I want to attend the Barrio Fiesta and ride on the Ferris Wheel, I can't because I need also to celebrate with the Assumption- Iloilo's Centennial Year that can't happen that I am still alive for the next 100 years. But on the 14th of August my family and I went already to the carnaval to play fun games like "pula puti", "color by color", and "longong". But still I enjoyed also the procession even though it's tiring. The procession and the celebration of the Assumption-Iloilo's Centennial Year was a success!!:)))

Centennial Fair!!

For me the Centennial Fair was one of my most sad experience because I was not able to enjoy it just not having enough money for me to ride the ferris wheel and the other game booths that are the reason why I am about to cry but still I have my friends with me in mingling with me wherever they go and sometimes treat me for foods and one thing that I will never forget is when they let me borrow their money so that I can go in to the Scary Booth that I'll never forget because the scary people there are trying to really make me scared and one thing that I got mad is that the other students that are beside me trying to pull and push me until I can't longer breath so fortunately there is Sir. Secular to calm those students who've been trying to kill me just because they are scared. So that Centennial Fair was a sad experience and at the same time memorable for me!! :))))) HAPPY CENTENNIAL YEAR ASSUMPTION-ILOILO!!:)))

Ghost Month ( August ) !!!!

Sunday, August 29,2010. I watched Mel and Joey in GMA and that particular evening I discovered that the month of August is said to be the Ghost Month as the Chinese believe in because a Feng Shui expert said that in the Chinese calendar, August is the 7th month and it means it is an unlucky month where Ghosts are free to roam around and they can come back where they died or to their houses/ family. So one evidence or proof that August is a ghost month is that the Feng Shui expert predicted that the month of August is the month where many people will die and unexpected events will happen so when August came one controversial news until today is the hostage drama last August.23,2010 that many foreign hostages died also the 2009 Miss International, Melody Gersbach, died because of the car accident in CamSur and also the bus accident that happened in Benguet and other bad events that happened and that results to the death of many people. So now I believe that if it is a ghost month a getting to married couple must not celebrate their wedding at this month because it is a bad luck and also no rennovations in houses because you can disturb a ghost. So now I believe in the Ghost Month of August!! :)

Student Congress!!

Last August 21,2010 we, the LCB-A Officers, hosted and facilitated the Student Congress of CEPA. At that week before the Student Congress we did all the I.D'S for 400+ students who came that day coming from Bcolod, Capiz, Aklan, Pototan, Passi, Anique and of course here in Iloilo. For our school, the 5 third year students were there to represent our school. So that week was exhausting because as I said earlier we made or typed on the computer 400+ I.D'S for those students who attended and also during the Students Congress we facilitated the registration of the students arriving in the venue in Holy Rosary Academy Molo, Iloilo City and so for this we were going back and forth looking for the names of the students joining the Congress and also the lists of the students from their schools. We listened also to their speaker, Councilor Jason Gonzales and we watched also the environmental film prepared by Sr. Mary Fidelis r.a. Our foods there are free, we have egg, ham, and cheese sandwich for snacks in the morning with a C2 green tea drinks. On our lunch we have a fine dining lunch with mouth-watering main courses and desserts. So after the program we served as the choir there during the mass with Mr. Alexander Romero. So that day was a memorable day in bonding with my co- officers in LCB-A. :)
